Campus Cook-Off is a 4 player couch co-operative (co-op) game where 4 players try and create the most over the top pizza under a given time limit, racking up as much points possible with the addition of each topping. This game was specifically created for the GAME 410 (Advanced Game Design Studio) class, where the entire class collaborated together to create a couch co-op in the Unity game engine. I acted as a sound designer for the project creating game ready audio assets to be used in the game, and partially assisted with audio integration using Unity’s built in sound manager. Although many of the assets were cut from the game, I learned a lot of different audio mixing techniques from this project.

Here are some sound effects that I created for Campus Cook-Off:
This was a sound effect that played if you succeeded a short “meter game” when you’re preparing a topping at a cooking station utilizing FL Studio:
This is the sound effect that played if you use the wash station, and succeed each meter game. This was field recorded, and mixed in Audacity:
This is the sound effect that plays when you’re at the cutting station cutting vegetables:
This is the sound effect that gets played at the dough station. This was a Foley recording, with it being mixed in Audacity:
Here are some of the sound effects recorded and mixed that did not make into the final cut:
This was a sound effect that was supposed to play when boiling water, but that feature was cut from the game. The sound effect was created by recording two different sound effects, played at the same time, and mixed to be loopable:
This was a sound effect that was originally going to be played at a fry pan station, and was field recorded then mixed in audacity:
